FC Libre exists to unite independent soccer clubs under a shared purpose: to reclaim the heart and soul of the beautiful game. Our mission is rooted in the belief that there is strength in numbers, and through collective collaboration, we can challenge the broken systems that have compromised the spirit of youth soccer in the United States.

By coming together, we create a powerful network that empowers local clubs, supports authentic development, and reconnects the sport to its most vital source—its youth.

Youth soccer in the U.S. has become dominated by an oligarchic structure where the priorities of a few powerful organizations have distorted the purpose of the game. What should be a tool for growth and joy has too often become a profit-driven machine, sidelining player development and accessibility in favor of exclusivity and control.

At FC Libre, we recognize that the system itself is flawed—not just in design, but in values. We believe real progress requires stepping away from these harmful dynamics and returning to the foundational elements that first gave life to the game: passion, creativity, community, and opportunity.

Our goal is to cultivate an environment where clubs can prioritize holistic development—technical, tactical, mental, and moral—without being hindered by politics or paywalls. We believe every club has something meaningful to contribute, and that the current structure stifles this potential.
